THE ST. ROBERT SOUTHWELL LITERARY WORKSHOP—2006

Sixteen very talented and diverse students from all over the country enthusiastically participated in last summer’s workshop. Special visits by Fr. George Rutler, Dana Gioia, and Joseph Bottom supplemented the workshops and the various lectures by the faculty: William Baer, Henry Russell, and Anthony Lombardy. After a very busy, productive, and pleasurable ten days, participants wrote that the experience was "a wonderful time!" "truly enlightening, inspiring, and enjoyable, "a great grace," "inspirational," and "one of the very best experiences of my life."

The 2006 participants were: Timothy W. Ferris, Brad Glaza, James Nicholas Hanson, Joe Hemmerling, Zachary Janowski, Sr. John Mary, Caroline King, Stephanie Manuzak, Sr. Maura Walter, Patrick McGrath, Claudia Michalik, Alton Pelowski, Christopher Scalia, Mark Signorelli, Kate Slavens, and Dr. Daniel Joseph Varholy.
